Richard Lloyd – Business Development Manager
Originally from Mendooran, in central west New South Wales, Richard has been involved in thoroughbred racing since the age of eight, with a strong family connection to the sport. His grandfather held a trainer’s licence in the late 1970s through to the early 1980s, providing Richard with early exposure to the industry and a lasting respect for horsemanship and preparation.
Richard moved to New Zealand 20 years ago and has built a successful career in business (recruitment mainly) and leadership across New Zealand. He has been an owner with Go Racing for over 10 years, with Pullyoursocksup being his first horse, and has since been involved in multiple horses through the syndicate.
Richard brings a commercially disciplined approach to Go Racing, with an emphasis on growing the footprint in Europe and Australia. He is focused on transparency, communication, and ensuring and enjoyable ownership experience.
