Trainer Bruce Marsh was confident she would run well. “She had form coming into this race and she’s come on well in training. She ran well on grass previously and I knew the polytrack wouldn’t affect her too much.”
The promising four-year-old has collected close to S$60,000 in prize money from just three starts for the Go Racing Goody Four Shoes syndicate.
According to jockey Barend Vorster, nothing was going to stop her once she got going “She’s got a nice long stride and travels very well. Even with 500 m to go she was giving me everything I wanted and didn’t look like she was tiring at all.”
Racing Manager Albert Bosma was delighted with Go Racing’s first winner in Singapore from their first runner there. “It was an impressive win where she showed an electric turn of foot. She has a big future in front of her. Perhaps the most pleasing thing of all is that our work identifying the right type of horse for Singapore conditions has paid off – we seem to have got the recipe right.”
