Says Racing Manager Albert Bosma, “Unfortunately he was bumped at the top of the straight and was then held up for about 100 metres. When he got the gap he dived through and finished the race off strongly. We were very pleased with the way he performed and it indicates he will be winning pretty quickly.”
He came through the race well and his next start will be at Wanganui on 3 October over either 1’200 or 1340 metres.
Trainer Lisa Latta considers him a possible Derby type come next autumn. “He’s a big horse so we may only give him a two or three race campaign this spring and then give him a few weeks off. There is no doubting his ability though.”
