Imagine going to Royal Ascot to watch your horse race at one of the world’s great racing festivals. And then have it compete in Australia’s great races.

We can make that happen. You can race a horse in both hemispheres with two of the world’s great trainers, Joseph O’Brien in Ireland and Chris Waller in Australia.

We will be purchasing two-year-olds at the upcoming European Breeze Up sales, starting this Tuesday the 12th of April. The horse will initially go to Joseph O’Brien in Ireland. Joseph will prepare the horse with our goal of targeting the great European carnivals of Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood and Epsom as a three-year-old. At the end of his three-year-old career, he will travel to Australia and transfer to Chris Waller, to race for their enormous prizemoney.

Like the Ready To Run sales in New Zealand, we will be buying two-year-olds that have breezed up, but are unraced and we can assess their ability before buying. The horses will go into training immediately with the intention to have them racing late in the Northern Hemisphere summer in August/September this year. We will be looking at both colts and fillies and targeting middle distance horses that can race in the classic Guineas, Derbies and Oaks in Europe next year as three-year-olds and then middle distance and staying events in Australia.

Joseph O’ Brien is a rare talent and by the age of 29 has already won two Melbourne Cups with REKINDLING and TWILIGHT PAYMENT, last year’s Cox Plate with STATE OF REST and Group 1s in Ireland, England and The United States. I have spoken to Joseph and he is a lovely man and excited about working with our Go Racing owners. Chris Waller needs no introduction and is a long standing ally of ours. Chris is an expert at training European imports and adapting them to Australian conditions.
