Go Racing are looking for Remuera to make three consecutive wins when she returns to Sydney this weekend for Chris Waller after winning her last two starts in Brisbane for the stable.

Remuera has only raced past 1400 on two occasions – her last two starts at 1800m and 1845m – and is unbeaten in both attempts, so the return to Rosehill for the A$125,000 Hylands Race Colours Handicap over 1800m where she comes in half a kilo over the minimum with Kerrin McEvoy aboard, looks an ideal race for her.

A $100,000 yearling purchase at Karaka, Remuera is a daughter of Reliable Man out of the Librettist mare Hinuera and is closely related to Frenetic, Star Rolling, Fun on the Run, Tall Poppy, and Listed winner Mustaagel.

A win by Remuera at Rosehill would cap off a great week for the Go Racing team with two stakes winners last week including the NZ Oaks winner Sentimental Miss returning to winning form in the Listed Wanganui Cup, while another Go Racing runner in Alward won the Listed ATC Cup at Rosehill.

Alward was returning from a successful stint on the Gold Coast and was given a patient ride by Hugh Bowman in the 2000m contest. The Tattersals Horses in Training Sale purchase travelled kindly midfield and once a gap presented itself on the straight he quickened to score smartly in impressive fashion. The win took his Australian earnings to just shy of $575,000. -Westbury Stud, Chris Waller Racing
