Long time between rounds

After nine months off due to niggling injuries, the very talented, The Final Round, will race this Saturday at Manawatu in a Rating 65, 1200 metres worth $20,000.

Says Racing Manager, Albert Bosma, “It’s been a long time coming. Originally this horse was destined for Singapore but we’ve had to be patient with various injuries and his recovery.”

“A three to four racing programme has been mapped out for him over the autumn period and then we can assess in which country his future lies. We believe he has that talent to go to the top.”

The Final Round is the half brother to Silky Red Boxer and the last foal from dam Soleil Etoile, hence his puglistic name.
