The team are offering shares in her half-brother by Darci Brahma which was purchased at the Premier Yearling Sale at Karaka.
“A promising young colt just got a whole lot more promising,” says Racing Manager Albert Bosma. “We believe he has doubled in value but our onselling price has not changed.”
Lisa Latta, who trains another son of Darci Brahma, the Group 1 placed Mighty Solomon for the Go Racing Silky Red Syndicate, will also train this colt.
The icing on the cake could well come this Saturday when the colt’s other half brother – Gifted Lad – lines up in the Group 1 NZ Derby worth $750,000. This could increase his value again and make him very hot property.
There is just 20 % remaining in the colt. A 10 % share is $11,700 + GST and a 5 % share is $5850 + GST.
