Quality colt and a full brother to a multiple Stakes winner in Australia and New Zealand
A colt that we needed to buy for a number of reasons.
By REDWOOD, a Group 1 winning son of champion stallion HIGH CHAPARRAL, he has left three Group 1 winners and 29 stakes performers, with an excellent winners to runners’ ratio of over 60%. A quality horse, his full brother ROMANCER is a multiple Stakes winner in Australia and New Zealand. We had the full sister RED ROMANCE with Chris Waller who commented she was Group quality and looked super in her trials. Unfortunately, she passed away before she got to the races.
ROMANTICALLY is a superb broodmare and a half-sister to the Group 1 Australian Cup and McKinnon stakes-winner SIRMIONE. She doesn’t leave foals very often and has had only two foals to race, so when she does it is important to buy them.
Chris Waller rated this colt highly and he will give us great opportunity at the 3YO classic races in Australia, but he also has enough athleticism to start his career as a 2YO.

Insurance and Karaka Million entry is charged separately
Monthly contributions from April 2026 will be NZ$630 (A$590) per month per 10% share, NZ$315 (A$295) per 5% share and NZ$157.50 (A$147.50) per 2.5% share into the syndicate bank account.
