November winning streak

November winning streak

November has been a boom month for Go Racing.

Says Racing Manager Albert Bosma, “It’s been a great run. We’ve had a string of nine winners, including Prince Albert  and Might today at Rotorua. In addition, the trio of Northern hemisphere stayers that we bought for Chris Waller in Australia have sold out quickly. We are calling our new Racing Manager Sean O’Connor – who also came on board this month –  our good luck charm.”

Including the most recent wins for Prince Albert and Might today, the team have had eight wins on both sides of the Tasman spread across Go Racing trainers.

Stardome, Remuera and Alward were all victorious for trainer Chris Waller. Quick Preview won at Ruakaka for Stephen McKee, Severine at NZ Cup Week for Andrew Carston, and Rip Em Up and Raposa Rapida for Stephen Marsh.

Go Racing had another successful annual trip to the Tattersalls sale in Newmarket securing Skyman, Monaafasah and Mubariz all of which have been snapped up by keen owners.

Says Albert, “These horses are lightly raced but progressive and will be suited to conditions in Australia. They will give their owners a lot of fun. This continues to be a popular option each year with a large waiting list this time. It is also our first time buying a filly which is exciting.”

There is a big week of racing remaining in a golden Go Racing month so the team are hopeful to add some more winners to their tally at Gold Coast and Rotorua today, and Ellerslie, Moonee Valley, Trentham and Rosehill on Saturday.

Says Albert, “Alward races in a Listed A$160,000 race at Rosehill and Sir Pippin, who is in great form, runs at Moonee Valley for A$135,000 on Saturday. It’s big money and exciting times.”
