Mongolian Khan x Jenuwin Yearling Filly

Trained by: Lisa Latta, Palmerston North

Mongolian Khan x Jenuwin Yearling Filly
A perfect heart

A beautiful filly with the gorgeous markings of a perfect heart in the middle of her forehead, she is an athlete with good strength and like all horses we buy a good mover.

She is from the first crop of champion racehorse MONGOLIAN KHAN who won the Caulfield Cup, Australian Derby, New Zealand Derby and was a champion 3YO and Horse Of The Year. She is out of the young winning Iffraaj mare JENUWIN  who is a half-sister to four stakes performers including New Zealand Derby winner HADES;  EVERBRIGHT, a dual stakes winner in Hong Kong from 1400 to 2400 metres and both Swan Lake and Katchmekate who were stakes-performing sprinters. She is also closely related to NURSE KITCHEN a Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed, who was sold as a future broodmare for A$1.7 million.

It is clearly a superb family with only two dams on the page and this filly has Oaks written all over her as a three-year-old with staying blood on both sides of her pedigree. She is going to have a bit of precociousness though which you can see in her pedigree, so can certainly race as a two-year-old. Trainer Lisa Latta loved this filly and specifically asked to train her.

From one of New Zealand’s greatest staying families and by our modern day staying Champion she is a classic filly.
