Rocky Rocks Them

Sadler’s Rock capped off two last start 2nds by winning the Mckenzies Electrical/R.E. Solutions 2200 Rating 75 2200 metres at Tauherenikau today. He led for the first time in his life and kicked hard on the corner. He was challenged by stable mate Lady Platinum in the straight, but fought hard under the big weight of 59 kilos to hold her off and win narrowly but well. It may not be the last time he leads in a race.

It was his 3rd win in his last nine starts for the emerging stayer and he continues to get better with racing and maturity. He is progressing through the grades and he looks a cups horse of the future.

He enjoys hard tracks and summer racing and will next race at Trentham on the 21st of January in a Rating 75 2200 metres.
